Start with a short project record
Write down the growing area, planned crops, previous additions and the reason for changing the soil. A bed that needs more growing volume is a different project from a bed with a measured nutrient need. Keeping those questions separate can prevent buying the right product for the wrong job.
A planting-day sequence
- Review a relevant soil test and the recommendations for your planned crops.
- Check the product label and decide on the intended application before opening bags.
- Prepare the bed when its condition is suitable for working, and keep unnecessary foot traffic out of the growing area.
- Record exactly what went into each bed, including fertilizer, compost and any specialty amendment.
Plan around arrival time
Soily is available now and dispatches in 3–5 business days, with carrier transit afterward. If your planting date is sooner, do not schedule the entire project around a delivery that has not yet been confirmed. You can still plan a later, appropriate trial based on the product guidance and the crop's needs.
